Tucked into one of Boise’s oldest neighborhoods, the 1109 Williams Project is a Boise historic bungalow renovation that honors its 1930s roots while introducing elevated, livable design. Aisling Designs was brought in to thoughtfully restore the original architecture—removing fragmented additions and replacing them with clarity, craftsmanship, and timeless materiality.
Original built-ins were preserved and reinterpreted, offering both function and story. Custom millwork was introduced throughout, paired with artisan tilework, warm neutrals, and a tactile mix of plaster and wood finishes. Every design decision was anchored in narrative and restraint.
This was not a surface refresh—it was a structural reawakening. Our team rebalanced the floor plan to restore the home’s original flow, while natural light was prioritized to enhance both form and function.
