This Boise renovation reworks a compact bungalow into a bright, open home built on white walls, black accents, and warm wood floors. Arched doorways connect the kitchen, dining nook, and living room, letting light move freely from room to room.
In the kitchen, white shaker cabinets and stainless appliances keep the palette clean, while a farmhouse sink and subway tile backsplash add a classic touch. The dining area pairs a round table with black bistro chairs beneath a matching black pendant, framed by a built-in bookshelf nook.
The living room centers on a whitewashed brick fireplace with an arched niche, layered with a patterned area rug and leather armchairs for a lived-in, gathered feel. Upstairs, the primary bath carries the black-and-white palette through in patterned tile and a round black-framed mirror, while the bedrooms stay soft and neutral with olive and rust textiles against white walls and natural wood floors.
