Sherman Bungalow

The Project

Sherman Bungalow is defined by dramatic vaulted ceilings, with dark wood beams and light tongue-and-groove paneling running throughout the main living space. A mustard yellow sectional sofa with black-and-white patterned pillows anchors the living room beneath black-framed windows, while a black metal stair railing with wood treads connects to the light wood kitchen and a round dining table set beneath black pendant lights.

Upstairs, the vaulted ceilings continue into the bedrooms, several fitted with skylights that wash the wood-paneled ceilings in natural light. Black metal bed frames, an arched mirror, and warm terracotta, olive, and rust textiles carry a grounded, earthy palette through each room, while a home office with a gold-legged desk and a black task lamp rounds out the layout, all tied together by the black window frames and wood tones used throughout the home.
